The Frisian village Nebel
Frisian houses with flower gardens dominate the cityscape and lend the place its special character. A variety of cosy coffeehouses and restaurants are as inviting as the numerous shops. Center of the village ist St. Clemens Church with its antique atmosphere and ornate tombstones from the times of the sailors.
Next door, situated in a garden, you’ll find the House of the Guest (“Haus des Gastes”) with its reading rooms and function room. Another well worth seeing sight is the windmill up on the village’s high moraine hill, functioning as a museum of local history. Comfortable trails lead through forest and dunes to the wide beach.
