Surfing and Kiting

Amrum is an ideal place for surfers and kiters. At low water conditions are perfect for beginners who start to learn surfing or kiting. And at wind strengths of 6 or higher professionals enter the sea to show their best.

Yacht Club Amrum

The yacht club is located in the harbour of the water and shipping authority. There is a restaurant, sanitary arrangements, and the harbour master's office. The town center is only a few minutes away from the harbour where there are shops, cafés, and restaurants. To the next bus stop it is a 7 minutes walk. From here you can reach all destinations on the island.

Since its foundation in 1972 the club has been continuously extended. There are enough anchorages for boats smaller and longer than 10m. More information can be found on their website at: http://www.amrumeryachtclub.de/
